2 cups Shredded green cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup shredded red cabbage (( or cheat and buy 2 bags of cole slaw mix))
1 package of Ramen noodles broken in small pieces ((discard seasoning))
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Dressing:
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 sugar ((you can replace the sugar for Splenda, just use 1 TBS of sugar, and remove one from the Splenda))
1/4 cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Directions spread the noodles and almonds on a cookie sheet and bake in oven of 225 degrees about 20- 30 minutes, until golden. Let cool. Mix together the vegetables. Make the dressing, make sure to whisk the oil in last after all other ingredients. Add the dressing and nut mixture, toss and serve.
Enjoy!

Now, the original recipe calls for the dressing ingredients to double. We use less dressing and found you need a little bit of sugar. I also add about a table spoon of terriaki sauce in place of a tablespoon of soy sauce. I use low sodium soy sauce, (tastes better) I also double the cabbage amount.
